Central Italy includes Emilia-Romagna , Tuscany , Sardinia , Marche , Umbria, Lazio , Abruzzo , Molise, and Campania. In the south are the regions of Apulia , Basilicata, Calabria , and Sicily . Wine is also actively cultivated on the island of Sardinia .
